Employee Volunteers Pick up Litter in Streets around Their Offices (Japan)

To mark World Environment Day (June 5), employee volunteers from Olympus Corporation’s Nagoya Branch and Olympus Medical Science Sales Co., Ltd. (Olympus’ Nagoya sales office) spent the day cleaning the area surrounding the Nagoya Marubeni Building, where both organizations have offices, as part of Olympus’ efforts to contribute to local communities. Participants meticulously picked up everything from small pieces of litter, such as cigarette butts and paper, through to plastic waste, including discarded boxed lunch packaging.
