Olympus's Response to COVID-19

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we would like to express our deep appreciation and sincere gratitude to the government, medical personnel and frontline workers who are responding day and night to bring an end to this crisis. Thank you from everyone at Olympus.

To support infection prevention, Olympus has developed and adopted guidelines based on new lifestyles in the time of COVID-19. We have implemented telecommuting, staggered working hours, and flextime systems in line with the guidelines.

In addition, Olympus is promoting the following infection prevention measures across our workplaces:

• In principle, Olympus workplaces will operate with a maximum of 50% attendance.
• Unnecessary or non-urgent business trips will be avoided in order to reduce the risk of spreading infection.
• Employees across all workplaces will wear masks and adhere to body temperature checks, and handwashing and gargling guidelines. Furthermore, all common areas will be thoroughly disinfected.

We will continue to implement measures to prevent the spread of infection and conduct business activities, while prioritizing the health and safety of our employees, customers, and business partners.
